Liv Morgan Injury Update

Jonathan EscuderoComment

An article by Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite has provided an update on the recovery of WWE Superstar Liv Morgan. According to the report, Morgan was scheduled for a medical evaluation this week to assess the progress of her separated shoulder, though she was not present at the recent episode of Raw as some had anticipated. The internal hope is that if her recovery remains on track, Morgan could make her return to the ring by early 2026.

This injury occurred during a June 2025 match on Raw against Kairi Sane. In the opening moments of the bout, Morgan landed awkwardly on her shoulder after a takedown from Sane. She immediately rolled out of the ring, visibly in pain and clutching her arm, and was escorted to the back by medical personnel. The match was stopped and Sane was awarded the win.

A separated shoulder, medically known as an AC joint sprain, occurs when the ligaments connecting the collarbone and the shoulder blade are stretched or torn.

Recovery time can vary significantly depending on the severity of the separation, but a serious injury like Morgan's can often require surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation process.

This isn't the first time Morgan has dealt with a shoulder issue, as she suffered a similar injury in 2023 that kept her out of action for approximately six months.
