AEW Dynamite Results 08-07-2024

  • MJF DEF. KYLE FLETCHER

Fletcher and MJF opened Dynamite with a very solid match. Towards the end, Don Callis gives Fletcher a screwdriver but Fletcher refused to use it. MJF low blows Fletcher for the win.

After the match, MJF takes out the ref, then he takes out Kyle Fletcher with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. MJF says he's going to do what Ospreay won't.

MJF is going to give Kyle Fletcher a Tiger Driver 91 when we're shown Will Ospreay escaping a locked room.

Ospreay stops MJF but Fletcher is out. Don Callis blames Ospreay for not getting there fast enough

  • MARIAH MAY DEF. VIVA VAN

Mariah handles Viva Van fairly easily. She's given a gift after the match and it's a photo of Toni holding her. Mariah mocks this photo but she doesn't see the message on the back until it's too late.

Toni Storm attacks and they're brawling again. The hatred will not end between these two until Wembley.

After the match, SHIBATA is jumped by the Learning Tree until HOOK returns to AEW TV and clears the ring

Orange Cassidy gives RUSH an Orange Punch to absolutely no effect before FTR jump on and allow OC to hit a second Orange Punch combined with a shatter machine for the win.

After the match, the Acclaimed come out to disrespect FTR but they had their mics shut off. Dad says he's not much for words anyway and the Acclaimed fight with FTR until security pulls them apart.

After the match, Mercedes is clowning Britt Baker for being suspended by the Elite. Tony Shiavonne announces that Tony Khan has overruled the Elite and brought Britt Baker back to TV.

Britt Baker appears "via satellite" to say she's going to be the first in AEW to pin Mercedes

  • BRYAN DANIELSON DEF. JEFF JARRETT IN AN ANYTHING GOES MATCH

Bryan and Jarrett go to war in a wild brawl that ends with Bryan hitting Jarrett with a chair assisted Busaiku Flying Knee

After the match Swerve comes out to tell Bryan that if Jarrett could take him to the limit like this then wait until he sees what Swerve does at All In.

Swerve says he wants to test himself the way Bryan did tonight. So next week Swerve will face Yuta
