DC Comics and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) are joining forces for a two-issue crossover comic book event that will bring the Justice League together with AEW's biggest stars. The collaboration, announced on October 1, 2025, will kick off with an exclusive preview of the comic at New York Comic Con.
The 48-page saga, written by Steve Orlando and illustrated by Travis Mercer with covers by Lucas Meyer, will see top AEW talent such as Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, and Kenny Omega team up with iconic DC Super Heroes including Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Harley Quinn. The story will follow their joint mission to recover the "Big Galactic Belt" and prevent a cosmic disaster.
Fans attending New York Comic Con will have the first opportunity to get the limited-edition preview comic and can attend two special events.
On Friday, October 10, a panel titled “Heroes, Villains, Spaces In-Between: Pro Wrestling and Comic Storytelling” will feature AEW CEO Tony Khan, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, and the comic's creative team.
On Saturday, October 11, fans can meet the AEW stars and the creative team for a special signing at the DC Comics booth.
Wristbands for this signing will be available on Saturday morning in the DC Booth between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET.
The partnership extends beyond the comic book. AEW will promote DC's upcoming "DC K.O." comic event across its platforms, which will feature AEW variant covers. In return, DC Comics will serve as the presenting sponsor for AEW's "Full Gear" pay-per-view event, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The complete two-part "DC x AEW" comic book series will be available for purchase in 2026 at comic book shops, on ShopAEW.com, and at select AEW live events.
