Sinqua Walls is the latest actor to join the cast of Man of Tomorrow, James Gunn’s highly anticipated follow-up to the 2025 DC Universe film Superman.
Currently filming at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, the production has kept Walls’ specific character details tightly sealed in a lead-lined safe, with DC Studios declining to comment on the casting. Walls joins a rapidly expanding ensemble that blends familiar faces from the first film with intriguing newcomers.
David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult return as Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, respectively, who are reportedly forced into an unlikely alliance to battle a massive universal threat. This antagonist is confirmed to be the classic villain Brainiac, brought to life by German actor Lars Eidinger.
The sequel also boasts recent additions like Matthew Lillard and Andre Royo in undisclosed roles, alongside Adria Arjona, who is heavily rumored to be playing the warrior-queen Maxima. Returning stars such as Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl help round out the impressive roster.
Man of Tomorrow is set for release on July 9, 2027
