Solila, Darak and Pythona are finally going to get off this new planet. But a new villain is targeting ROM, making this plan a little bit more difficult!

*Void Rivals #34 SPOILERS ahead!*

A PLAN TO LEAVE THIS PLANET

After landing on Planet Junkion, Skuxxoid demands to know where his Rockerroid is. Only to be told that it's been sold. But to who you ask?

Proximus and his crew of course.

Back with the main crew on the other Planet. Pythona's soldier Grakula is looking for that creature Gorr. He's missing, and she’s concerned about why he has suddenly disappeared.

Pythona tells her not to care, because they don't even know what that thing was. So why should it matter? Grakula bites her tongue and accepts her leader's wishes. Not looking for an argument.

After some flirtatious comments from Darak to Pythona, Solila and Darak work with ROM to see if there are any new updates on getting off this planet. Luckily, ROM has an idea. His plan is to leave the planet himself and return with a ship capable of taking them all home.

But why do that when there's a MASSIVE ship that's right there in front of them? Oh yeah, because this ship is carrying Predacron, a member of the Galactic Authorities who's here to kill ROM!

ROM tells them all to stand down when they try to back him up. But Darack doesn’t listen. He blasts at Predacron when he’s fighting ROM, hopefully not putting a target on their back from the Galactic Authorities.

Pythona is savvy, though; she is taking the offensive measure for everyone here and gunning for Predacron's ship. She wants to steal it and take them all home. During this fight, Predacron rips Carpet, ROM's partner in this wasteland, in half after pulling him off his body.

ROM is sent into a blind rage with nothing to lose now. Pythona sees...something on the ship that startled her team. What is it? We'll have to wait and see. But the big arrival comes as Skuxxoid appears, and he is NOT happy with ROM and Predacron.

CONCLUSION

Void Rivals continues to be an insane toy box of fun and action. Not only that, but all the recent story arcs are finally coming together and building to a crescendo.

The introduction of Predecron is cool. He's badass and is a great addition to this story.

The door opening to the potential retaliation of the Galactic Authorities will be an interesting potential story beat to keep noted going forward. ROM continues to be a highlight in this book, and I'm genuinely curious how the Skuxxoid story will combine with the Darak/Solila/Pythona story.

The untapped potential in this book is insane. I feel like we've been fed crumbs to this story, but still have so much of this Energon Universe left to explore.

Overall: 9/10
