Hey everyone, it's finally here! After what feels like an eternity, we've got the official release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong! Get ready to dive back into the beautiful, bug-filled world on September 4.
Team Cherry has confirmed that this highly-anticipated title will launch on PC and console, including a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass. This is huge news for anyone with an Xbox, as you'll be able to play it right away without any extra cost. The timing is also perfect, with the new ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming PC hitting the market on October 16, so you'll have plenty of time to get ready for some portable Silksong action.
GameSpot's own Steve Watts got some hands-on time with the game and had nothing but good things to say. He called Silksong a "strong, well-designed, visually lovely game" that truly honors the feel of the original Hollow Knight. It's clear that Team Cherry is putting their all into this sequel, and the wait will definitely be worth it.
